BLUE CLOUDZ
Synopsis
This book explores the fortunate and difficult developmental aspects faced by Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Prince. He’s born into a musical household with prodigious abilities (1958), but he must overcome epilepsy, parental feuds, abandonment, bullies, and racism during the US Civil Rights Movement. Despite all he endures, he moves mountains. Travel back to humble beginnings. Be a fly on the wall as his circle forms. Some may object to the mercurial icon given frank treatment, but this is Prince at human scale.
Join kindred soul and multimedia creative Eric S. Townsend as he crafts his prequel to Prince’s Oscar-winning film Purple Rain (1984). Blue Cloudz is a breezy but informative read with 300+ scenes and 100+ photos.

From the Author
“This book won’t pass judgment or seek resolution. This book won’t feed fascination around the circumstances of his death. Points plot, lines form, but most remains open. Some creative license is taken (though very little). Prince smirks. He was guilty of same in interviews.”
— Eric S. Townsend
